This yarn is incredibly soft and light. It lacks the heft of 100% wool sport weights and is light and airy. I love using it as a double layered brim on my knit hats for a soft, warm, light layer over my ears, paired with a heavier merino weight on the body of the hat. It could be the perfect yarn for the right projects (babies and next to skin), but is not the perfect yarn for every project (lacks the durability for abuse).

    Almost perfect!
My favorite yarn to work with. Am wanting to make all my projects from it. I like to double strand it with wool/yak to make a dk for sweaters.
Its a dream to knit. For cables there’s some stitch definition. It has a subtle bloom. Not too fuzzy. Then there are the colors. Amatrine and moonstone stand out with their multi facets. Moonstone has Grey’s, brown and when knit gives of a silvery whitish sheen. Just stunning.

  3. Clara Weygandt

Beautiful feel, amazing warmth, and the fiber holds the color amazingly. This is an exquisite fiber to work with, just a pleasure to knit. I made a loop scarf, and I adore it. I love the person who suggested doubling it into the edge of a cap for warmth. Quite frankly, I just love holding it, and looking at it. It is my favorite yarn.

I LOVE KNITTING WITH ROAD TO CHINA LIGHT YARN. IN FACT, THI IS THE ONLY YARN I KNIT WITH MAKING BEAUTIFUL ITEMS.

  5. Linda Magnusson

This is the nicest yarn I have ever knitted with. Luxurious feeling and stunning final result. If I must write something negative, it was that the yarn tangled sometimes, but the positive things with this yarn are definitely predominant. I made a chevron blanket/shawl, navy and off-white and it was very much appreciated by the friend who received it for her first child.
