Aimsir is worked from the bottom up with seamed shoulders, sides and sleeves.The thumb-hole is placed to measure at the right point in relation to the sleeve length.The hood is then worked by picking up stitches along the neck edge and finished with an applied i-cord edging.

YARN:
The Fibre Co. Arranmore in (80% merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% silk, 160 m (175 yd) per 100g hank) Kinnego Bay  5 [6: 6: 7: 7: 8] hanks

NEEDLES:
1 pair 6mm (US 10) needles, 4.5mm (US 7) circular needle,
2 double-pointed 4.5mm (US 7) needles

TENSION/GAUGE:
14 sts and 22 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 6mm (US 10) needles.

GARMENT MEASUREMENTS:
Bust (at underarm): 91 [97: 103: 109: 114: 120] cm (35.75 [38: 401⁄2: 43: 45: 47.25] in)
