Designed by Becky Baker, Blea Rock is a slouchy pullover that is both fun to knit and easy to wear. Knitted in Lore, the rhythmic smocking stitch and relaxing stocking stitch allow the rustic, lofty nature of the yarn to shine. This classic sweater is worked in pieces from the bottom up and seamed for strength and stability.
Blea Rock is part of the Borrowdale collection, a series of 16 pieces designed for The Fibre Co.’s Lore yarn. The garments and accessories in this collection are designed for everyday adventures, be it with your favourite pair of jeans and hiking boots, or wrapped up in as you snuggle on the sofa.
About the Designer
Designer Becky hails from Scotland where she works as a consultant knitwear design manager for yarn companies and creates her own knitwear designs when time allows. Taught to knit by her grandmother and great aunties, Becky’s true passion is knitwear design that combines the traditional with modern innovations.
