Ikki is a top-down, seamless pullover designed by Marianne Munier with striking texture patterns zig-zagging through the left side of the sweater body. With a drop-shoulder silouette and a split hem, the sweater is incredibly easy to wear and looks great over jeans as it does over a summer dress.
Knit with Cumbria Fingering yarn to create a lightweight sweater that you will want to wear all year round!
The knitting pattern requires a bit of concentration to work at the beginning with the combination of texture stitches and short rows, but it is well worth the effort! The short rows make the sweater fit really well and the designer has made extra effort to make sure you are helped through the instructions the whole way.
Marianne Munier is a French knitwear designer who lives in Paris and loves to play with texture in her knitwear.
The knitting pattern is available in English and French.
