Kagerou Pattern

This pattern is available to purchase on Ravelry at the link below.

by michiyo
The flared hem of this top reminded designer michiyo of a heat shimmer or, in Japanese, a Kagerou. This open-front vest pattern is worked from the bottom up. The fronts and back are worked together back and forth up to the armhole. The yokes are then worked separately joining the shoulders to finish.

The inspiration for this five-piece collection designed by michiyo comes from the yarn itself—the world’s most inspiring and beautiful meadows. Hikari or ‘light’ in Japanese is a perfect name for the collection as it represents the lightness of the yarn and the lovely fabric it creates.
