CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
The Ladyโ€™s Mantle cowl is worked in one piece from the top down. Stitches are cast-on for the neck and a long turtleneck is worked in 2×2 rib. This rib widens as increases are worked to shape the beginning of the โ€˜yokeโ€™. After working in rounds for a short while, German Short Rows are then used to lower the front edge. Increases continue throughout the short rows. A smaller version of the front short row section is then worked at the back, before the whole item is cast-off with an I-cord edge.
