Star Anise Pattern

£6.60

Available!

By Emma Wright

Star Anise is a luxurious, stranded colour-work sweater knit in five shades of Acadia. The pattern for this drop shoulder design offers options for either a wide or tapered sleeve, and a crew or high neck. Knit in the round from the bottom up, this is a project for knitters after something extra special for spring.

This boxy sweater is knitted bottom-up seamlessly in the round to the underarm, where the work is then divided to work the front and back sections flat. The sleeves are knitted bottom-up seamlessly in the round to the underarm to then attach to the divided section (armholes) of the garment body. The ribbed neckline is picked up last.

Star Anise is the seventh pattern from The Almanac Series and is also available as part of a kit.
