Stratified is a striped sweater designed by Tif Neilan features exclusively in the book, Worsted, A Knitwear Collection Curated by Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée.

Stratified is worked in one piece, from the top-down, starting with the neckline. It is entirely seamless. A series of short rows will be worked after the collar to shape the neckline. The colorblock design uses 5 colorways within a 4-stripe repeat. The manner in which the color transitions flow through the pattern allows a particular color to appear in differing size stripes throughout. The raglan shaping emphasizes the clean lines of the stripes while subtle texture and eyelets enhance the pattern and keep the knitter engaged to the end. This pattern is written for a cropped or full length body as well as a cropped or full length sleeve, providing the knitter with a variety of finished knit options.

Worsted – A Knitwear Collection Curated by Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée is a knitwear collection featuring 14 patterns by 10 incredible designers. The designers all have their unique style and speak to many kinds of knitters. Now they come together to form a beautifully cohesive collection. You can find garments such as sweaters and cardigans and accessories like shawls and hats, with techniques ranging from stripes and stranded colourwork to cables and textured stitch patterns.

This book features designs by the following designers: Nadia Crétin-Léchenne, Stephen West, Sylvia Watts-Cherry, Andrea Mowry, Tif Neilan, Saysha Greene, Norah Gaughan, Maxim Cyr, Nancy Marchant and Thien-Kieu Lam. Digital copies of Worsted are now available to download via the Laine Publishing website and are available in three languages.

Sizes:

1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)

The given sizes are called 1-9. There are two versions for each size: cropped length, with cropped sleeves and full length, with long sleeves. When you select a size above, choose your number size followed by ‘C’ for cropped or ‘L’ for full length/long sleeves.

Finished measurements:
Garment chest circumference (at underarm): 33.25 (36, 40.25, 44, 48) (52, 56, 60.25, 64)” / 83 (90, 101, 110, 120) (130, 140, 151, 160) cm

Recommended ease:
Designed with 2–5” / 5–12.5 cm of positive ease at chest circumference.

You will also need:

• US 6 / 4 mm 16–24” (40–60 cm) circular needles and DPNs
• Circular needle length for small-circumference knitting (for collar/hem) and
• US 8 5 mm 24” and 30” (60 cm and 80 cm) or longer circular needles and DPNs circular needle length for small-circumference knitting (for body).
• 4 stitch markers (1 distinct), waste yarn, tapestry needle.
