Swinside (Cumbria Fingering) Kit

About Swinside

Swinside is a boxy pullover with drop stitch garter panels at the hem and sleeves. It is knitted top-down using a clever, modular construction and Japanese short rows. Cumbria Fingering is a perfect match for this oversized design, allowing the fabric to drape elegantly over the body.  There is also a Canopy Fingering version of this kit.

Recommended ease

Designed with 77 – 80 cm (30.25 – 31.5 in) of positive ease at bust circumference.

You will also need:

• 3.75mm (US 5) circular needle for working a smaller circumference in
  the round (or size to obtain gauge)
• 3.75mm (US 5) 80cm (32 in) circular needle (or size to obtain gauge)
• 3mm (US 2.5) circular needle for working a smaller circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)
• 3mm (US 2.5) 80cm (32 in) circular needle (or size to obtain gauge)1 pair 3mm (US 2.5) needles
• Waste yarn or stitch holders
• Stitch markers
• Darning needle
