Takumi is the Japanese word for ‘artisan’. The cardigan features a flattering wrap-style, with a longer length, ¾ sleeves, and is finished with i-cord trim worked simultaneously with the sweater.

YARN:
The Fibre Co. Acadia in shade Blueberry – 9 (9, 10, 10, 11, 11)(12, 12, 13, 14, 14) hanks.

NEEDLES:
3.75mm (US 5) or size needed to get gauge in a length to accommodate the bust sts, 3.5mm (US 4) or one size smaller than the gauge needle in the same length for rib trim, 3.75 mm (US 5) or size to get gauge in preferred needles for small circumference knitting, 3.5mm (US 4) or one size smaller than the gauge needle for the rib cuff, One 3.5 mm (US 4) double-pointed needle for i-cord knitting.

TENSION/GAUGE:
21 sts x 31 rows = 10cm (4″) in St st blocked.
