The Brenna cowl appeared in our Fell Garth collection, launched earlier this year to celebrate our love for beautiful handmades with a practical purpose. Each piece is worked in either Cumbria or Cumbria Fingering, that were created to be evocative of the mood, light and places that characterise the North West of the UK where Daphne, our Founder, lives and develops The Fibre Co. yarns.
The Knit-Along starts on 22nd September 2016 and you can enjoy lots of chat and inspiration on our
Ravelry board thanks to our new Ravelry Community Manager Kimberly aka Somebunnyslove. Both she and Emma will be there for tips, help and general chatter that we like to think of as an online knit and natter. Sometimes knitting is best shared with friends.
We’d also like to offer you a thank you for joining us. Finished items knit in The Fibre Co.’s Cumbria yarn uploaded onto Ravelry via the thread and project pages by 21st December will be entered to win a sweater quantity in the colourway of the winner’s choosing to make any of the garments from Fell Garth. We will even supply you with the pattern so you can get knitting straight away. We’ve also invited our friend Alex at
Alex Collins Designs to donate a hand printed tote to keep your skeins in.
You can get your copy of Brenna via Ravelry,
