Two weeks ago we released our first round of Foundations designs– simple patterns that called for 1-3 skeins of our yarn. Today, we’ve updated with 4 more designs and they’re bulky weight; perfect for those of you wishing to give the gift of handmade to someone that you love.

We are not going to insist you knit for the Holidays. We are going to encourage you to dive into the joy of quick to knit accessories though. Why not gift yourself this year?

Today we’re introducing the second set in a series of design collections called ‘Foundations’ – aimed at novice knitters ready to expand their skills and those already more advanced who would like to adapt patterns and make them their own.

This series of designs features our Tundra yarn, a bulky yarn created from our much loved formula of baby alpaca, merino and silk. This 2 ply yarn has a pleasing, rounded appearance that results in a plump hank with loft and a great hand. Accessories and garments alike enjoy a weightlessness but with all the enveloping warmth you’d expect from such an ample yarn.

We know many of you are turning your mind to gift knitting and we think these simple 1-3 hank projects would be perfect. Easy to work from, quick to work up and easy to memorise of you wish to make mulitples. So which would you cast on first?
