Aspens Asymmetric Shawl Kit

Full of different patterns and textures, Aspens Asymmetric Shawl conjures memories of long walks through snow-covered forests and stony paths alongside rivers. Knit in our Cumbria yarn – a lustrous blend of Masham wool, Merino wool and mohair – this shawl will keep you warm in your day-to-day living.

A wide center panel shows off a beautiful and intriguing cable pattern. Two columns of simple honeycomb stitch sandwich the main cable, with long bands of slipped stitches surrounding it. The shawl is worked back and forth on long circular needles, from the narrowest edge to the widest, where the cable design reveals its full beauty. A simple rib stitch finishes off the edge beautifully.
