This sideways knit scarf starts narrow and widens to snuggle up across the back of your neck and protect you from the cold winter winds. With an i-cord edging that is worked as you knit from one end to the other, this is an engaging and fun project that will speed along in The Fibre Co.’s bulky weight Tundra.
YARN: The Fibre Co. Tundra (60% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 10% silk, 109 m (120 yd) per 100 g hank) in Bearberry – 3 hanks
NEEDLES: size 10 us (6.0 mm), 40” (100 cm) circular or 12” (30.5 cm) long straight needles as preferred, in size needed to get gauge
TENSION/GAUGE: 16 sts & 18 rows = 4” (10 cm) in fauske body stitch pattern. Steam or wet block your swatch before taking the measurements.
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS: One size measuring 25.5 cm (10 in) at widest point with a length of 142 cm (56 in).
