Greenall Pattern

Description

Greenall is a yoke cardigan with a striking eyelet stitch across the upper body and sleeves. It is knitted seamlessly in one piece from the top down. Road to China Light makes this cardigan a pleasure to wear: soft, drapey and an ideal companion on cooler days.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Road to China Light (65% alpaca, 15% silk, 10% camel, 10% cashmere, 145 m (159 yd) per 50 g hank) in shade Peridot – 5 [6: 6: 7: 7: 8: 8: 9] hanks. Our yardage given includes enough to knit an 8” x 8” gauge swatch. We recommend alternating hanks as you work to give an overall blended appearance.

Construction notes:

The yoke and body of the cardigan are worked flat and seamlessly in one piece, before the sleeves are picked up to be worked in the round.

Recommended ease:

Designed with 18–34 cm (7–11 in) of positive ease at bust circumference.

Gauge:

20 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st after blocking using 4.5mm (US 7) needles.
20 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over chart 1 after blocking using 4.5mm (US 7) needles.
20 sts and 24 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over chart 2 motif after blocking using 4.5mm (US 7) needles.
