In The Flow Pattern

In The Flow is a generously sized cowl. It is knitted bottom-up in the round and consists of four stripe sections, with purl stitch rounds to create a gradient effect.

YARN:
The Fibre Co. Acadia Minis (60% Merino wool, 20% baby alpaca, 20% silk, approx. 26 m (29 yd) per 10 g mini-skein) in Cranberry (A), Blueberry (B) and Granite (C) – 3 mini-skeins of each; and Mountain Ash (D) – 4 mini-skeins

The Fibre Co. Acadia (60% Merino wool, 20% baby alpaca, 20% silk, approx. 133 m (145 yd) per 50 g hank) – 1 hank of each of the colourways listed above

Note: If you are working with 50 g hanks instead of mini-skeins, you’ll be able to work more stripes than indicated. The pattern instructions provide some guidance on this, and you could add additional stripes beyond that if you so choose.

NEEDLES:

• 3.75mm (US 5) 60 cm (24 in) circular needles
• 4mm (US 6) 60 cm (24 in) circular needles (or size to obtain gauge)

TENSION/GAUGE:
19 sts and 30 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st after blocking using 4mm (US 6) needles.

Total Circumference: 74 cm (29 in)
Height: 29.5 cm (11.75 in) for Acadia and Luma, and 24 cm (9.5 in) for Lore
