The Mt. St. Helens Hat is a cozy and squishy accessory featuring easy cables and a deep fold-over brim. Inspired by the 1980 volcanic eruption of Mt. St. Helens, this hat captures the essence of that event. Just like the molten lava carving out new gullies and deep ravines, this hat adds a touch of nature's drama to your wardrobe. Designed to be truly unisex, the hat is available in three sizes, and its size and height can be easily adjusted with the help of included instructions. This kit comes with ample yarn to create three hats, providing a fantastic opportunity to experiment with color. Colors:

Photographs show the hat in the shades Blencathra, Isel, and Greystoke. Designer Kay Hopkins says the hat would also look good with the brim done in a contrasting color and a pom-pom too!

Recommended ease:

Choose a size about 5 cm (2 in) smaller than head circumference. The size is easily adjustable with instructions.
