Colour Block Tunic Pattern

Description

A versatile shape with options for color or texture choose your own adventure! Simple colorwork creates the color block version, making it a simple step into color play. The body of this top is worked in the round, from the bottom up to the armholes before working flat to create shoulder and neck shaping.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair, 300 m (328 yd) per 100g hank) in Eden Valley (A) – 1 [1: 1: 2: 2: 2] hanks, Windermere (B) – 1 [2: 2: 2: 2: 2] hanks, Grizedale Forest (C) – 1 [2: 2: 2: 2: 2] hanks and Helvellyn (D)- 1 [1: 1: 1: 1: 1] hanks

Gauge:

29 sts and 40 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 3mm (US 2.5) needles.

Sizes and measurements:

Recommended to fit a chest circumference of: 76-81 [86-91: 97-102: 107-112: 117-122: 127-132] cm (30-32 [34-36: 38-40: 42-44: 46-48: 50-52] in)

Chest circumference (at underarm): 90 [101: 110: 120: 130: 141] cm (36 [40.5: 44: 48: 52: 56.5] in)
Length (from side neck): 65 [67: 69: 71: 73: 75] cm (25.5 [26.5: 27.25: 28: 29: 29.5] in)

Recommended ease: 

Designed with 10–12.5 cm (4–6 in) of positive ease at chest circumference.
