Description
Drawing inspiration from traditional Scandinavian-style colorwork, the Festive Mistletoe Socks feature charming motifs of holly leaves, mistletoe, and snow. The stranded colorwork uses only two shades per round with short floats, making this project accessible to beginners while offering a thoroughly enjoyable experience for more advanced knitters. Once you complete the cuff and colorwork sections, the rest of the knitting shifts into a smooth and relaxing stockinette stitch. Using three seasonal shades of The Fibre Co.’s Amble, these socks will not only keep your toes cozy but also infuse every stitch with the festive spirit.
Amble is a specially designed sock yarn, thoughtfully crafted by combining eco-friendly, washable wool and alpaca with recycled nylon for strength and durability. This yarn stands out as the perfect choice for projects like the Festive Mistletoe Socks, where softness and strength are desired.
Why stock taster kits?
Taster kits are a great way to try out yarns that you may not already carry, and a small yet perfectly formed project—they are great for beginners and gifting. Not only that, we have specifically designed each part to be as convenient as possible for stockists:
- The pattern card is portable for knitters on-the-go and with minimal printing it is good for the planet.
- The yarn comes in the right quantity for the pattern.
- The project bag replaces single-use packaging with something useful that knitters will love, and holds the project securely with plenty of room.
- And finally, the easel display self-stands to showcase the kit well in your store!
Note: Festive Mistletoe Socks Easel Displays are limited to one per wholesale customer, and are only included in your order if you have not received one yet.
Yarn:
Each Festive Mistletoe Socks Taster Kit includes enough yarn to create one pair of socks, using one 100 g hank and two 25 g hanks of Amble.
The Fibre Co. Amble (70% Easy-wash Merino wool, 20a% Easy-wash alpaca, 10% recycled nylon, 325 m (355 yd) per 100 g hank) in shade Appleby Castle (MC) – 1 hank.
