Drawing inspiration from a vintage Swedish cable pattern, the Global Shift Shawl showcases the distinctive offset globe cables that define the Global Shift Collection. This asymmetrical triangle begins at a narrow corner and grows with each row, featuring eye-catching cable panels running along the straight edge. The soft garter stitch base is punctuated by subtle vertical stripes created with slipped stockinette stitches, adding depth and visual interest to the squishy, textured fabric.
Knitted in The Fibre Co.’s Herb & Hue, this plant-dyed extra-fine Merino brings remarkable softness and complex, living color to every stitch. The yarn’s round, plump texture makes garter stitch irresistibly squishy while allowing the offset cables to shine with crisp definition.
