Description
The Mushroom Raglan is a classic raglan sweater knitted seamlessly from the top down. The mix of knit and purl rounds in the colorwork creates an interesting and comfortable texture. The faux raglan seam is worked in stockinette stitch and the main color only, making the structure of this raglan sweater stand out dramatically against the colorwork pattern. This is the perfect outdoor sweater for activities like mushroom-hunting or bird-watching and adds rustic style to your wardrobe.
This sweater is made in our woollen-spun DK-weight Lore made from 100% lambswool from the English Romney sheep breed. This soft yarn is light, warm and blooms beautifully after washing, making it perfect for this sweater. Love this design? Get a matching Mushroom Hat for your outdoor adventures here!

This sweater is knitted in one piece from the top down. You begin by casting on for the rib collar and proceed with an increase round followed by short row shaping to raise the neckline. After that, the colorwork begins, and raglan increases are worked to shape the yoke. Once the yoke is finished, the sleeves and body are worked separately. Faux raglan seams are worked at the increases in the yoke, and there is a faux seam on the inside of the sleeves.
