The Purls of Wisdom Sweater is worked in the round from the top down. You will begin by casting on the Yoke at the neck which starts with knit 2, purl 2 ribbing, and then work purled increase rounds between knit rounds. When the Yoke is finished, you will put the sleeve stitches on waste yarn or stitch holders, and then knit the body until the hem, which is worked with K2, P2 rib. When the body is finished, you will pick up the sleeve stitches and work them in the round to the cuff, finishing with more K2, P2 rib. Weave in the ends, block your sweater, and voila - your first sweater is ready to wear! Instructions for changing colors are provided in the pattern making it easy to to create the colorblocks of your choice.
