Patterns will help knitters gain confidence and experience with new techniques while still working within a manageable level of difficulty.
Description
Trillium Lake is the perfect top to knit up fast for warmer weather or to layer under a sweater or jacket. It’s simple elegance with classic lines and a touch of lace. Picture it over a linen skirt, shorts, summer pants, or your favourite jeans. Knitted in Road to China Light, a luxurious blend of cashmere, silk and baby alpaca, makes this tee superlatively soft next to the skin and an absolute delight to knit.
This tee is constructed seamlessly from the top-down and in the round. The hybrid yoke gives you the best of both worlds – it starts with the circular method for easy lace and transitions into raglan seams for superior fit. The neckline is worked first and in a way that provides structure to keep it from stretching out. Short rows lower and shape the front neck (by raising the back neckline) and short rows also optionally provide for an angled hemline for a bit of added length in the back. The angled hemline is flattering on many figure types and makes for comfortable wearing. Sleeves and body length can easily be made longer and there are optional eyelet lace details at the sleeves and hem.
"I really love how Road to China Light works up for this pattern. It’s the perfect weight, drape, and stitch definition. And it’s so so soft and light to wear!" 😍 - Kay
