Moyna Pattern

Description

Moyna is a gorgeous vest to keep out the cold and add a pop of color inspired by the hills.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Cumbria (60% merino wool, 30% brown masham wool, 10% mohair; 218m (238yds) per 100g hank) - 3–4 hanks.

Construction notes:

The front cable and bobble panel are an easy but interesting bit of textured knitting. It is worked from the bottom up in pieces and seamed.

To fit a chest circumference of: 81 [86: 91.5: 96.5: 101.5] cm (32 [34: 36: 38: 40] in)
Garment chest circumference (at underarm): 85 [91: 95: 101: 107] cm (33.5 [36: 37.5: 39.5: 42] in)

Recommended ease:

Designed with 3.5–5 cm (1.5–2 in) of positive ease at chest circumference.

Gauge:

20 sts x 28 rows = 10cm (4 in) in stocking stitch using 4.5mm (US 7) needles.
19 sts x 34 rows = 10cm (4 in) in seed (British moss) stitch using 4.5mm (US 7) needles.
