This striped throw is relaxing to knit, worked flat from one end to the other, and is perfect for those wanting something soft and cozy. Be it a colorful addition to the home or a great travel companion, this throw is warm, fun, and versatile. It features an all-over garter stitch pattern with a new color change every eight rows, and a slip stitch pattern after color changes provides an interesting transition between shades.

Being knit in our voluptuous &Make Super Bulky yarn, this blanket works up with satisfying speed. Made from 100% Highland wool this might just be the cosiest blanket you’ll ever make.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. &Make Super Bulky (100% Highland wool, 80 m (87 yd) per 100 g ball) in shades Indigo Child (A) – 2 balls, Cherries & Berries (B) – 2 balls, Smiley (C) – 2 balls, Monster (D) – 2 balls, and Mille Pink (E) – 2 balls.

Construction notes:

This large cozy striped throw is knit flat from one end to the other using knit stitches to form an all-over garter stitch pattern, with a new color change every 8 rows. Two rows of a slip stitch pattern are worked after color changes to provide an interesting transition between shades. The edges are kept tidy with a slipped stitch selvedge.
