Description

Swinside is a boxy pullover with drop-stitch garter panels at the hem and sleeves. It is knitted top-down using a clever, modular construction and Japanese short rows. The pattern gives you two yarn options: Canopy Fingering (now discontinued) for a sweater with elegance and drape and Cumbria Fingering for an everyday sweater to keep you cozy on cool Spring days.

The Swinside pattern is available as a kit that includes the PDF pattern and 4–6 hanks of The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering yarn.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair, 300m (328yds) per 100 g hank) shown in shade Isel – 4 <4: 4: 5: 5: 5: 6: 6> hanks.
