Description
The Ways of Water Wrap is inspired by the dance of waves crashing upon the shore, with its unique stitch pattern mimicking the ebb and flow of ocean currents. The gradient hues, ranging from deep oceanic blues to shimmering shallows, mirror the myriad colors of the sea at different depths. This interplay of color is achieved by alternating between solid and striped sections while knitting a zig-zag pattern of eyelets and garter stitch.
Designed in The Fibre Co.’s Acadia—a rich blend of Merino, baby alpaca, and silk noil—this wrap promises a delicate drape and sumptuous texture, feeling heavenly against the skin. Made with five shades of Acadia, the Ways of Water Wrap serves as a delightful project for confident beginners and seasoned knitters, bringing vibrant oceanic inspiration to every wardrobe.
This pattern is also available as a kit that includes the PDF pattern and 10 hanks of Acadia.
