Intermediate knitting patterns are aimed at knitters who have a solid understanding of fundamental techniques and are ready for more challenging patterns. Knitters at this level are expected to be comfortable reading patterns, working with a variety of needle types, and executing more advanced techniques such as cables, lace work, detailed construction methods or intarsia. These patterns require reading complex charts or instructions, offering knitters the chance to refine their skills and explore creative, sophisticated designs.
The Celestia Top blends ancient tradition with a fresh, modern aesthetic. Designed by Zanete Knits, this seamless, top-down yoke tee is the ultimate summer project for adventurous knitters who love to play with color. The bold, continuous colorwork motif is inspired by the designer's Latvian roots—a sun symbol connected by a web of intricate branches. The pattern has a meditative rhythm to knit, and for those who enjoy clever techniques, this is the perfect project for practicing ladderback jacquard to manage long floats. Whether you’re exploring new skills or simply enjoying the flow of the pattern, Celestia promises both visual impact and knitting satisfaction.
This kit pairs the luxurious softness of Road to China Light with the mesmerizing hues of Transitions to perfectly highlight the design’s intricate colorwork while creating a comfortable, breathable fabric. The blend of baby alpaca, silk, camel, and cashmere in Road to China Light offers a silky hand, beautiful drape, and subtle sheen that elevate the garment’s elegance. Combined with Transitions’ shifting tones, this yarn pairing brings color-changing magic to the motif, making each Celestia Top as unique as its knitter.
