Description
The One Sweater Child Kit brings the beloved One Sweater design to little ones with a timeless simplicity and inclusive spirit that have made it a favorite among our knitters. Inspired by the idea of a single pullover that can be worn by anyone, this child-sized kit celebrates everyday comfort, warmth, and wearability. Knit seamlessly from the top down, the raglan construction makes it easy to adjust the body and sleeve lengths as you go—perfect for customization and growing children. An accompanying video series walks you through every step of the pattern, making One Sweater a fantastic project for first-time sweater knitters.
The kit includes Cumbria, The Fibre Co.’s signature worsted weight yarn, chosen for its strength, softness, and beautiful stitch definition. Spun from a blend of Merino wool, brown Masham wool, and mohair, Cumbria offers a balance of durability and comfort—ideal for a hardworking child’s sweater meant to be loved and worn often. Its rich, nature-inspired palette draws from the landscapes of England’s Lake District, adding depth and warmth to every stitch. Whether you choose a classic neutral or a playful pop of color, Cumbria ensures your One Sweater will be a cherished piece for years to come.
The pattern included in this kit also contains instructions for the adult-sized sweater, along with the child sizes. A kit is available for the adult version of One Sweater here.
