Description
Bruna Biavati’s Solana Bag is a granny square accessory inspired by summer sunshine. It has a warm retro color palette and style, balanced with a clever construction. The finer yarns are used held double, and there is a simple diagram to help with making up.
This reversible bag is made out of 13 squares that will be sewed together in the layout explained. Straps are added to the top afterwards. Yarns A and B are held doubled throughout, so wind 2 separate cakes of each from one hank.
Yarn:
The Fibre Co. Luma (50% Merino wool, 25% organic cotton, 15% linen, 10% silk, 125 m (137 yd) per 50 g hank) - 3 hanks; The Fibre Co. Meadow (40% Merino wool, 25% baby llama, 20% silk, 15% linen, 498 m (545 yd) per 100 g hank) - 2 hanks.
Colors:
The photos show the bag in shades Buttercup (Col A), Prairie (Col B), Sage (Col C), Blanca (Col D) and Flamingo (Col E). Choose from the color combinations as shown above.
