Description
Bruna Biavati’s Solana Bag is a granny square accessory inspired by summer sunshine. It has a warm retro color palette and style, balanced with a clever construction. The finer yarns are used held double, and there is a simple diagram to help with making up.
The pattern is available as a kit that includes the PDF pattern, 3 hanks of The Fibre Co. Luma yarn, and 2 hanks of The Fibre Co. Meadow yarn.
Yarn:
The Fibre Co. Meadow (40% Merino wool, 25% baby llama, 20% silk, 15% linen, 498 m (545 yd) per 100 g hank) – 2 hanks.
The Fibre Co. Luma (50% Merino wool, 25% organic cotton, 15% linen, 10% silk, 125 m (137 yd) per 50 g hank) – 2–3 hanks.
Construction notes:
This reversible Solana Bag is made out of 13 squares that will be sewed together in the layout explained. Straps are added to the top afterwards.
Yarns A and B are held doubled throughout, so wind 2 separate cakes of each from one hank.
