Bruna Biavati’s Solana Bag is a crochet granny square accessory inspired by summer sunshine. It has a warm retro color palette and style, balanced with a clever construction. The finer yarns used are held double, and there is a simple diagram to help with seaming.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Meadow (40% Merino wool, 25% baby llama, 20% silk, 15% linen, 498 m (545 yd) per 100 g hank) in shades Buttercup (A) and Prairie (B) – 1 hank each.

The Fibre Co. Luma (50% Merino wool, 25% organic cotton, 15% linen, 10% silk, 125 m (137 yd) per 50 g hank) in shades Sage, Blanca, and Flamingo – 1 hank each.

Construction notes:

This reversible Solana Bag is made out of 13 squares that will be sewn together in the layout explained. Straps are added to the top afterwards.

Yarns A and B are held doubled throughout, so wind 2 separate cakes of each from one hank.

Strap drop length: 25.5 cm (10 in)
Strap length: 52 cm (20.5 in)

Gauge:

The solid granny square worked to 5 rounds is approx. 11 cm (4.25 in) square using a 4mm hook.

There is no errata for this pattern most current version is V1.
