Description
This pillow has a classic design and fun and unusual construction. Inspired by the pristine beauty of snowy landscapes, Kay Hopkins has designed this pillow to complement her wonderful Winter Wonderland Shawl. The stunning textured colorwork is achieved through a few simple garter short rows that don't require any special turns. A contrasting i-Cord seam around the edges provides a neat and decorative finish, and can easily be opened on one side if you ever need to take the cover off. You also have the option to knit the back in plain stockinette or reverse the colors from the front. Add a touch of comfort and festive spirit to your home with this beautiful pillow.
The wool and alpaca fibres in Amble have been treated with the Easy-wash process, ensuring that this yarn can be machine-washed without shrinking. Amble is a soft, fingering-weight yarn that's easy to work with. The addition of recycled nylon provides strength to create a lovely long-lasting pillow.
