The Perseids Sweater plays on traditional Nordic designs for stranded colorwork yoke to create a classic sweater pattern. This is a beautiful project for the ambitious beginner who would like to try a colorwork garment.
This sweater is knitted seamlessly in the round from the top down. The work is separated after the yoke is finished, and the body and sleeves are worked separately. The pattern gives instructions for shaping the upper back neck by working German Short Rows and creating a flexible bottom edge with an elastic cast-off method.
