Nothing says comfort like a pile of cozy cushions, and we are delighted to offer you three possibilities with lots of interesting textures; a brickwork stitch pattern, a texture stripe pattern and a classic cable and garter stitch pattern. There are twenty eye-catching shades to match your home color scheme in a luxurious blend of Highland wool and alpaca. Try a new technique such as cables or adding texture to your knits, and add a touch of comfort to your home with &Make.

This pattern is also available as a kit, that includes the PDF pattern and 3 balls of &Make Aran yarn.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. &Make Aran (50% Highland wool, 50% alpaca, 150 m (164 yd) per 100 g ball) in shades Aqua Man, Spill the Tea, or Betty White – 3 balls.

Note: 3 balls will make one pillow cover—if you want to make more than one style, you’ll need to buy more yarn.

Construction notes:

The pillow cover pattern has three stitch patterns to choose from: brickwork stitch, texture stripe stitch, or a classic cable and garter stitch. All stitch options of the Pillow Possibilities covers are knit flat from one end to the other, using either knit or purl stitches. Once your knitting is complete, you will then weave in the ends and block your pillow pieces. Once dry you will seam the open edges closed around your pillow insert and voila! Your beautiful pillow is complete!

Gauge:

18 stitches and 26 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over stockinette stitch after blocking using 4.5mm (US 7) needles.
