Barnacle Sweater Kit

About Barnacle

Barnacle is a sumptuously soft and warm sweater featuring an elegant cabled stitch pattern. The sinuous stitch pattern was inspired by tiny barnacles perched on rough rock, and forms a wide rib effect across the garment. Worked in The Fibre Co. Tundra, this rugged inspiration becomes gorgeously luxurious and a pleasure to wear. The sweater is knit flat. The neckband is added after the pieces have been seamed together.

This fabulous Tundra sweater, designed by Emma Vining, is the cover image for The Knitter Issue 171 and is a free pattern within the magazine.
