The Almanac Series II
A seasonal guide to knitting with The Fibre Co. yarns.
Based on the original farmer’s Almanac guide to the seasons, this collection celebrates each month of the year with our Yarn of the Month and a new design launch in that yarn.
In our first Almanac Series, we celebrated our connection to nature through traditions of herbalism.
For this Series, we looked to the heavens for inspiration. The beauty and grandeur of the night sky and awe-inspiring astronomical phenomena guided our creativity. For AW22/23 we have 12 stunning new patterns from designers including Erika Knight, Dario Tubiana and Lotta Lothgren.
As the season turns colder, we embrace our warmer yarns. August is Road to China Light, September is Arranmore Light, October is Lore, November is Cumbria Fingering, December is Tundra, January is Cumbria.
And when Spring is on the horizon, we welcome our lighter yarns. February is Cirro, March is Acadia, May is Luma, June is Amble and July is Meadow.
Inspired by the depths of the ocean, The Almanac Series III will launch on 1st August 2023 and feature eight designs from Helen Kennedy, Émilie Hallet, Valerie Ng, Emma Ducher, Cheryl Toy, Marina Skua, Karel Chan, and Dario Tubiana.
We were thrilled to have Erika Knight join us in our public launch webinar for The Almanac Series II and to take a look at her stunning new design, the Zodiac Sweater.
During the session, we also provided a first look at our brand new yarn range &Make, which launched in September 2022.
