A unisex hat to knit for everyone you know, Chapelfield is a classic fitted beanie in a mock-cable and twisted rib pattern. Quick to knit in just one hank of Lore, it is worked in the round and features clever crown shaping to great effect. Wear it pulled over your ears to keep them toasty or fold up the brim to wear it as a watchcap.

The Fibre Co. Lore (100% lambswool, 250 m (273 yd) per 100 g hank in Comfort – 1 [1: 1] hank
NEEDLES:
3.5mm (US 4) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round
4mm (US 6) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round
TENSION/GAUGE:
28 sts and 31 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over rib pattern using 4mm (US 6) needles
21 sts and 31 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 4mm (US 6) needles
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS:
To fit head circumference: 46-51 [51-56: 56-61] cm (18-20 [20-22: 22-24] in)
