Description

The Gridland Scarf is a beginner-friendly project utilizing the beauty of simple knit and purl stitches to make a big, warm hug of a scarf. With clear illustrated instructions and a full range of tutorials, it is a perfect first knitting project or a wonderfully mindless project for more experienced knitters looking for a little zen on their needles. Designed to be a staple of the wardrobe in the cooler months, with minimalist, genderless style, and subtle details, and once you have knit your scarf, there are many ways to wear it!

This kit is for a solid color Gridland Scarf in The Fibre Co.'s &Make Aran yarn. Kits are also available for a colorblock version as well as solid for &Make DK and striped for &Make DK and solid for &Make Super Bulky and colorblock for &Make Super Bulky yarns.

The Gridland Scarf is knit from one end to the other, using knit and purl stitches to create a gridded pattern in the fabric. The edges are kept tidy with a slipped-stitch selvedge. Weave in the ends, block your scarf, and voila—your first textured scarf is ready to wear!
