About Rise and Set Blanket

Designer April Gopwani’s Rise and Set Blanket is inspired by the warm tones of the rising and setting sun. The pattern uses a colourwork chart to create the beautiful circular sun motif. The fringing details adds movement and additional texture.

The Blanket is worked in rows of double crochet, following a Chart for the colour changes over the central ‘sun’ portion. Chart is worked from bottom up, and each square represents 1 dc stitch. Read RS rows from right to left, and WS rows from left to right. Change colour mid-row in the last yoh of the previous st.
