Sunshine Squares Kit

These textured sunshine-coloured socks are great for brightening up even the gloomiest of days. The socks feature a simple repeat pattern of textured squares that is easy to follow and memorise. Designed to cater to your knitting preferences, these versatile socks – available in UK shoe sizes 7-11 – can be created either from the cuff down or the toe up. Whichever method you choose, the result is a stunning pair of socks that embodies both creativity and comfort.

These socks are knitted in our specially designed sock yarn, Amble, which is spun from a blend of machine-washable Merino wool and alpaca, as well as recycled nylon. The Merino wool and alpaca fibres have been treated using an eco-friendly alternative to the superwash process, making this project truly something you can be proud of.

The Fibre Co. Amble (70% Easy-wash Merino wool, 20% Easy-wash alpaca, 10% recycled nylon, 325 m (355 yd) per 100 g hank) in shade Daffodil – 1 hank.

These socks are sized to fit an average UK shoe size of 7 to 11.

Finished leg/foot circumference: 20 cm (8 in)
Finished leg length: 11.5 cm (4½in) (adjustable)
Finished foot length: 24cm (9½in) (adjustable)

Needles and notions required:

• 2.5mm double-pointed needles (or preferred needles for knitting socks)
• Stitch markers
