The scarf is worked flat in Tundra, a bulky blend of fine Merino wool, baby alpaca, and silk that offers lightweight warmth and soft fabric with a fabulous loft, perfect for the coziest of accessories. Yarn:
The Fibre Co. Tundra (60% baby alpaca, 30% Merino wool, 10% silk, 109 m (120 yd) per 100 g hank) in shade Lingonberry – 3 hanks.
Construction notes:
This scarf is worked flat in a Traveling Rib stitch pattern, with a Backwards Loop Cast-On and Tubular Bind-Off. The cast-on is done using waste yarn, which later gets removed once a few rows have been worked, leaving a neat edge.

Finished length: 167.5 cm (67 in)
Finished width: 19.5 cm (7.75 in)
Gauge:
20 sts and 15 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over Traveling Rib patt after blocking using 5mm (US 8) needles.
