These wristwarmers are designed in The Fibre Co. Tundra, an exceptionally soft, bulky-weight yarn with a gentle halo. Tundra’s luxurious texture drapes beautifully over the hands while providing structure and warmth. Using just one hank, these wristwarmers knit up quickly—perfect for a weekend project, gifting, or travel.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Tundra (60% baby alpaca, 30% Merino wool, 10% silk, 109 m (120 yd) per 100 g hank). Short version in shades Aurora and Snowdrift – 1 hank. Long version in shades Bearberry and Taiga – 1 hank.

Construction notes:

The wristwarmers are worked from the cuff upward toward the hand and thumb. Worked in simple stockinette stitch with a neat border, the pattern includes instructions for knitting either in the round or flat. A series of increases shapes the thumb gusset, and two length options are provided: a shorter wrist-length or a longer style that covers the forearm.

Circumference: 18 cm (7 in)
Length (to thumb gusset): 6 [13] cm (2.25 [5.25] in)

Gauge:

14 sts and 18 rnds / rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 7mm (US 10.5) needles.
