Knitted with &Make Aran, a lovely blend of Peruvian Highland wool and alpaca, the Tilted Terrain Hat is worked in the round from the brim to the crown with short row shaping that creates the “tilt”. New to short rows? This is the perfect pattern to help you learn this new skill. The relaxing two-round garter and slip stitch pattern repeat is fun to do and easy to memorize—it’s just enough to keep you interested without being difficult. Cast on and enjoy making this unique project!

The Fibre Co. &Make Aran (50% Highland wool, 50% alpaca, 150 m (164 yd) per 100 g ball) in shades Spill the Tea, Prince, and Hyper Blue – 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2) ball(s).
Construction notes:
The Tilted Terrain Hat is worked in the round from the brim to the crown. The brim is worked in 1x1 ribbing. Short row shaping is used for creating the asymmetric design.
