Cloudspotter Tee Pattern

Description

The Cloudspotter Tee pattern designed by Lindsey Newns is a boxy, relaxed-fit top. It features simple stripes, cuffed sleeves and is crocheted in moss stitch. The basic panel construction and shaping-free design make it ideal for beginners.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Meadow (40% Merino wool, 25% baby llama, 20% silk, 15% linen, 498 m (545 yd) per 100 g hank) in shades Queen Anne’s Lace (MC) – 2 [2: 3: 3: 3: 3: 3: 4: 4] hanks and Fennel (CC) – 1 [1: 1: 1: 2: 2: 2: 2: 2] hanks. 

Construction notes:

The t-shirt is crocheted in rows, bottom up, in two panels which are then joined at the shoulder and side, creating a drop shoulder. A cuff is added to the sleeve after joining.

The given sizes are called Sizes 1–9 and are recommended to fit a chest circumference of: 76-81 [86-91: 97-102: 107-112: 117-122: 127-132: 137-142: 147-152: 157-162] cm (30-32 [34-36: 38-40: 42-44: 46-48: 50-52: 54-56: 58-60: 62-64] in)
Finished chest circumference (at underarm): 104 [112.5: 124.5: 132: 142: 152.5: 161.5: 172: 181] cm (40.75 [44.25: 49: 52: 56: 60: 63.5: 67.5: 71] in)

Recommended ease:

Designed with 20 cm (7.75 in) of positive ease at chest circumference.

Gauge: 

27 sts and 26 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over moss st after blocking using a 4.5mm (US 7) crochet hook.
