Durango Shawl Kit

Durango Shawl is a beautifully textured triangular-shaped shawl that features a beautiful cable pattern that follows the shape of the shawl and transitions smoothly into the wide ribbed border. The edge-to-edge cables are framed by an i-cord edging that’s knit as you go.

Designer Irina Anikeeva ‘wanted something soft, warm, and luxurious’ to knit her design in. After browsing the shelves of her local yarn store, she found our Cumbria Fingering yarn and chose it because of the soft blend of fibres, deep rich colours, and how it allows cables to be seen very vividly.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair, 300m (328yds) per 100 g hank) in Buttermere – 3 hanks.

Note: This shawl uses almost all 3 skeins. You may wish to consider purchasing an additional skein due to variations in individual work.

The photos show the shawl in the shade Buttermere. Choose from any shade of Cumbria Fingering as shown above.
