This hair accessory set is perfect for beginners wanting a small easy project to try out different stitches.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. &Make DK (55% Highland wool, 35% alpaca, 10% linen, 125 m (137 yd) per 50 g ball) in shades Soft Love, Surf’s Up or Careless Whisper – 2 balls.

2 balls of &Make DK will let you make:

• 1 headband (all sizes) and 3 scrunchies,
• 2 headbands (all sizes) and 1 scrunchie, or
• No headbands and 4 scrunchies

Needles and notions required:

• 3.75mm (US 5) circular needles
• Stitch markers
• Elastic hair tie
• Darning needle

Note: for working the headband, you may use straight needles if preferred. For working the scrunchie, you may use double-pointed needles if preferred.
