Worked in simple reverse stockinette with a big bold cable down the back of the arm and hand, the Heggelia gauntlets are a great project for a newer cable knitter. Worked up in The Fibre Co.’s lush bulky weight Tundra yarn, these cozy mitts will be perfect for those colder winter nights.

YARN:
The Fibre Co. Tundra (60% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 10% silk, 109 m (120 yd) per 100 g hank) in Pinkberry – 2 hanks

NEEDLES:
Size 9 US (5.5 mm), 40” (102cm) circular or double pointed needles for your preferred method for working in the round, or in SIZE NEEDED TO GET GAUGE.

TENSION/GAUGE:
16 stitches & 23 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in reverse stockinette stitch.

GARMENT MEASUREMENTS:
Hand circumference: 7 (9)” or 18 (23) cm
Total length: 12.5 (14)” or 32 (35.5) cm
