Lowther is a versatile cardigan for all genders, designed by Lotta H Löthgren in either weight of Cumbria: worsted or fingering. It is knitted seamlessly from the top-down with short-row set-in sleeves and an elegant twisted stitch detail used on the shoulders, sleeves, back and front edges.
Intermediate knitting patterns are aimed at knitters who have a solid understanding of fundamental techniques and are ready for more challenging patterns. Knitters at this level are expected to be comfortable reading patterns, working with a variety of needle types, and executing more advanced techniques such as cables, lace work, detailed construction methods or intarsia.
