Description

Subtle texture dances across the front of this fitted sweater, which is worked in pieces from the bottom up and then seamed.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Arranmore (Discontinued) (80% merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% silk, 160 m (175 yd) per 100g hank) in Cronan – 5 [5: 6: 6: 7: 7] hanks.

Construction notes:

Long Tail cast-on is the method used for all cast-on edges. However, you can use whichever cast-on method you prefer. This garment is worked from the bottom up in pieces and seamed. The neckband is then picked up and worked in the round to finish.

Sleeve seam: 55 [55: 55: 56: 56: 57] cm (21.5 [21.5: 21.5: 22: 22: 22.5] in)

Recommended ease:

To be worn with 5–8 cm (2–3 in) of positive ease

Gauge:

17 sts and 25 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 5mm (US 8) needles, after blocking.
